SDART Ltd - or Software Development and Research Technology - was established in 2006 in Manchester, largely on the strength of its close links to the City's Universities. SDART now designs and delivers software applications for a broad range of industries ranging from engineering to finance. Its purpose is to help businesses who want to use technology to improve their existing business processes or who want to develop completely new ideas in digital services or products and bring them to the market.
Our approach to bringing the innovation to a business divides the development into three stages: feasibility study, prototype development and commercial software product development. This approach increases the chances of the solution bringing commercial success and creates better correlation between the development and the business aim of the project. Project owners also have more information about and control over the development process.
SDART combines an extensive network of highly skilled programmers and software engineers. We undertake all or selected parts of the development cycle: project management, design, development and implementation of the software systems. We are also happy to partner on projects by providing selected skills and delivering sections of a project as required by the customer.
Our solutions have been developed for, or in collaboration with, a wide range of partners including international blue chip companies.
